The funds raised from the Mayor’s Golf Tournament will be going to three local organizations.
At a press conference yesterday, the mayor announced 50 per cent of the funds raised will go to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, 25 per cent will go to Community Living, and the other 25 per cent will be given to Christine’s Place.
Mayor Scott Aitchison says the timing is right to step up and support organizations such as the hospital foundations.
During the announcement, several local businesses hopped on board to sponsor the event.
The date scheduled for the golf tournament is September 15th at Mark O’Meara and Grandview.
