Almaguin Highlands OPP is happy to report nobody was charged with drinking and driving over the long weekend during their R.I.D.E. program.
Police say out of the 435 vehicles checked, nobody was charged with impaired driving. Over the long weekend, police did lay 127 charges and 97 of them were speeding infractions.
The other charges included distracted driving and failure to move over for emergency vehicles.
Police are thanking the majority of the drivers who drove responsibly.
