Port Carling’s Royal Canadian Legion Branch will be filled with 150 delegates from all over Southern Ontario soon.
This is because it’s the Fall District E Convention this weekend.
Veteran’s Service Officer Kim Mandley says they have been working on this event for 8 months, and many local businesses and community members have helped.
This Saturday, there will be a parade at 12:30pm which will start at the Turtle Jack’s parking lot.
It will end at the Cenotaph, where there will be a short re-dedication service.
