Georgian College’s Operation Hero scholarship is getting a $26,000 boost. The seventh annual Base Borden Run raised the money for the scholarship fund, which supports dependents and spouses of serving members of the Canadian Forces.
Almost $200,000 has been raised for the fund by the annual run.
Georgian College President and CEO, MaryLynn West-Moynes, says they deeply appreciate the sacrifices made by the family members of Operation Hero recipients.
