The Huntsville OPP is releasing safety tips for the upcoming snowmobile season. The police say to always wear a proper helmet, with a buoyant snowmobile suit, and carry ice picks.
Watch out for rocks, docks, pressure cracks, and open water while out on the trail. Finally, only travel on ice that is well-tracked and stay on the marked OFSC trails.
