Muskoka could be seeing another 30cm of snow

A snow squall watch is back in effect for Muskoka. Environment Canada says 10 to 15 cm of snow could fall overnight tonight, with another 15 cm tomorrow.

Snow squalls could develop anytime, eventually tapering off Sunday night. Driving conditions could be dangerous because of quickly changing weather.

The snow squall watch is in effect for the following areas:

  • Orillia – Lagoon City – Washago, Ont.
  • Barrie – Collingwood – Hillsdale, Ont.
  • Port Carling – Port Severn, Ont.
  • Bracebridge – Gravenhurst, Ont.

Meanwhile, Huntsville and Baysville are still under a snow squall warning. Another 10 cm could fall tonight, with snow squalls developing quickly and unexpectedly.
