Nobody was hurt, but a fire has damaged a Muskoka Lakes garage. The blaze broke out early yesterday morning, engulfing the 1,600 foot garage and a car that was inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but Muskoka Lakes Fire Chief Richard Hayes says a generator could have been a contributing factor. He says it was plugged in because of yesterday’s power outages.
Fire crews worked throughout the morning to extinguish the blaze.
