The man charged in the Gravenhurst bear killing case returns to Bracebridge Court March 6th. In November, the 41 year old was photographed repeatedly beating an injured bear to death with a rock on in Gravenhurst. He’s now charged under the OSPCA ACT with failing to kill an animal by a humane method and causing an animal to be in distress. Provincial Offences Court staff on Pine Street say the charges will be spoken to at the March 6th court appearance.
