An annual awareness campaign is joining forces with a popular summer starter in Bracebridge.
On May 28th, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes will move to Annie Williams Park to run alongside the annual Picnic in the Park.
Hannah Lin with the YWCA Muskoka says she hopes to see this partnership bring in more high heeled walkers.
Lin says last year there were 45 walkers, but they were able to raise $15,000 for the YWCA to provide violence prevention programs across Muskoka.
