The district has been pounded with snow in the month of January causing school buses to be cancelled eight times and highway shut down twice.
Warning Preparedness Meterologist Geoff Coulson with Environment Canada says information sites showed higher than normal snow fall and that was only up until last Friday.

Coulson says there is more active weather coming in February and March including a storm system they are tracking for this weekend.
