The Ontario SPCA wants you to lace up and leash up to help pets in need.
On September 24th, pets and their owners in Muskoka will be taking part in the Friends for Life fundraising walk. Whether you have a furry friend or not, you can still participate to help raise funds for the Muskoka OSPCA. Organizer Jane McCamus says the money will help cover the cost of vet bills at the local shelter, which come in at over $80,000 annually.
McCamus says their goal is $17,000 this year and they’ve raised about $4,000 so far. The walk will be held at Kerr Park in Bracebridge. You can find out how to register on the OSPCA website.
