Enough is enough when it comes to bullying those with intellectual disabilities. That’s the message from People First of Ontario; a provincial body that fights for the rights of some of society’s most vulnerable.
Huntsville Board Member Katherine Kristiansen says PFO is working to raise awareness about the issue of bullying. She says it’s an issue all across Ontario.
Audio PlayerKristiansen says the community can help out by stepping in when they see someone being bullied or call proper authorities. She says you can also relay the incident back to PFO so they are aware of the situation.
