Huntsville High School students putting their best foot forward to raise cash

Huntsville High School students are putting their talents on display to help give students a voice. The school is putting on a talent show at the Algonquin Theatre at the end of April, in order to raise money for the Me to We foundation as well as to put towards buying a stage, speakers, and microphone for the school’s cafeteria.

Jenna Sykes, President of the HHS’ WE Impact says the Me to We Foundation spearheads different initiatives throughout the year to help inspire people to become leaders of change.

Huntsville High School’s WE Impact is part of the Me to We Foundation and has done local fundraising initiatives in the past.

Sykes also says donating half of the proceeds to the school’s stage will help to increase student voice.

Sykes says the audience can expect a wide range of performances during the talent show. She says singers, dancers, poets, comedians and more will all be showcasing their work. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for everyone else and are for sale at the high school and at the Algonquin Theatre.
