Two Muskoka minor hockey teams are out of the OMHA playdowns.
The Muskoka Rock Atoms and Huntsville Novice Rep Otters were both knocked out in the semi-final bracket. The Otters lost their third game against Collingwood on Friday night. Meanwhile, the Muskoka Rock Atoms staved off elimination Friday while facing off against Essa, but were handed a third loss on Friday against the Eagles.
The AE Midget Bears are the only Muskoka team left in the playdowns. They’ll be facing off against Petrolia in the final series this weekend.
Meanwhile in the CPJHL, the Bracebridge Pioneers are making headway in their first playoff series. The Pioneers pulled into the second round of the playoffs after defeating the Ice Wolves in two games Thursday and Friday. The team will face off against the Stallions on Monday.
