Across the country there was an extra reason to go for a coffee as Tim Horton’s Camp Day gave Canadians coast-to-coast a chance to help send kids from low-income homes to a summer camp experience.
Every coffee sold, along with decorative camp bracelets are donated to the Tim’s Camp Day fund, and over the years it has raised millions towards children having a great and quintessentially Canadian experience.
It’s been a blast, said on-air host Brandon Burge. “And I never got to go to camp so I am glad that some kids can have an experience I didn’t have!”
His colleague Dustin Whitcomb concurred, saying, “I did some camps when I was young, made some lifelong friends and you learn lots of cool stuff as well!”
