Highway 11 near Huntsville became a bit of a skating rink Friday night.
A mix of wet snow and rain, along with the temperature hovering near 0C resulted in the slick conditions.
Two vehicles went off the road within an hour of each other and just a few kilometres apart.
Around 9:15pm a vehicle went off northbound Highway 11 near the Highway 60 off-ramp and was removed about a two hours later.
Just before 11:00 last night an OPP court services vehicle went off the road. There was no report from OPP’s Twitter account if there was anyone being transferred in the truck, which features individual locked compartments separated from the driver’s cab.
