The OPP is investigating after a Bracebridge home was broken into over the weekend.
Just before 10:30pm on Saturday the OPP says a man went to the home and tried to get in, but found it was secured. He kept trying until he was able to get inside. The OPP says he was confronted by the homeowner inside.
The suspect was removed from the property after stealing one cigarette. The suspect then fled the scene while police were called. Police responded immediately and with the help of witnesses were able to quickly identify the suspect.
Christopher Nuttley, a 25-year-old from Clearview Township, has been charged with breaking and entering, theft under $5,000 and uttering threats.
