The township of Lake of Bays has confirmed snowmobiling on the lake is over for the season.
In a post to its Facebook page is a message showing a picture of Thompson Portage where the trail crosses over to Haystack Bay.
“The trail markers on the lake have been taken down,” says the post.
Ice huts in the area need to be removed by March 29th as well.
