Residents in Muskoka needing help with their federal income tax can get help at the District.
The District of Muskoka is running Community Volunteer Income Tax Clinics at various locations through the area.
The clinics, run with the Canada Revenue Agency and local volunteers, offers free tax preparation services for individuals, families, seniors and persons with disabilities and moderate income.
It is important to remember that filing your taxes annually entitles qualified residents with benefits such as the Trillium Benefit, GST, Child Tax Benefits, OAS and GIS among others.
