It is the 8th annual Pine Glen Craft Show and Touch-a-Truck event.
Dozens of vendors with everything from clothing, to food and knick-knacks is on display.
The addition of the Touch-a-Truck appeared to be a big hit with kids lining up to get in the cab of a ladder truck, an electric school bus and even an OPP cruiser.
The fundraiser has brought in $40,000 to the school over the years, with the money buying everything from new playground equipment to sports gear. This year organizer Jackie Allen is hoping to raise enough for a new playground pavillion that would get the kids out of the sun and wet weather.
“A hundred per cent of our proceeds go back to our kids,” says Allen.
“Anything the kids need, the teachers will come and say, ‘we need this for our classroom,’” Allen explains. “Whatever they need that’s what we will provide.”
It goes until 3:00pm this afternoon at Pine Glen School – 126 West Road in Huntsville.
