Huntsville High School’s welding class has given the Huntsville Royal Canadian Legion a gift that will forever represent remembrance and community. On Remembrance Day, teacher Jim Milne and his students presented the legion with a giant poppy. Milne says the decision was made as a class.

The legion was quite happy to receive a gift from the students. President Betty Smith says they are truly grateful.

The poppy is made out of diamond plate steel and was donated to the class about a year ago.
