Lightning has struck a house and caused a fire in Gravenhurst.
It was just after 1:00am when Stations 1 and 2 from the Gravenhurst Fire Department responded to a fire call on Fleming Drive in the Kilworthy Drive area of south Gravenhurst.
When crews arrived it was determined there was a fire in the walls.
A nearby resident told MyMuskokaNow.com that there wasn’t much of a storm going when a lightning strike followed by a massive thunderclap “shook the house.”
