Bracebridge, ON – Local residents have the chance to take part in events and win prizes by getting active this month.
The Town of Bracebridge is entering the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge, in celebration of June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM). Communities across Ontario recognize JRPM to promote healthy living and recognize the importance of local parks.
Residents are encouraged to download the ParticipACTION app and track their physical activity between May 31 and June 16.
According to the town, access to parks helps promote personal health, strong communities and social inclusion.
Bring a Buddy Day is an event at the Bracebridge Sportsplex Thursday, June 6. It will include cycling, circuit and Zumba classes along with outdoor and indoor fitness activities.
