Gravenhurst Fire seeks public feedback

GRAVENHURST, ON -The Gravenhurst Fire Department is seeking feedback from the public.

The department has created a survey seeking the community’s feelings on a number of fire-related issues.

“From operational response to emergency planning to fire prevention and community engagement initiatives, our firefighters need your help to make sure we’re delivering on our mission to serve,” said Chief Larry Brassard.

The survey can be completed online and for those without computer access, the Gravenhurst Library has computers the public can use.

“The survey is a simple, easy to complete questionnaire with a mix of tick boxes and several opportunities to provide comments,” said Brassard. “In all, it should take about 5 minutes to complete.”

For those who prefer the traditional pen and paper, copies of the survey will be available at Fire Station #1 on Harvie Street, in the Library or at the main customer service desk at Town Hall, 3-5 Pineridge Gate.

You can access the survey at the town’s website at www.gravenhurst.ca/haveyoursay. The survey will be open to the public until August 31, 2019.
