Organizers are sending a HUGE thanks out to the local community after the 26th Annual Bracebridge Salvation Army Food Drive gathered over 12,000 pounds of food. Captain Fred Reid says over 150 volunteers came out last night to help. Reid says it was a great night and that the last load came in shortly after 9pm. Local EMS staff and members of the Bracebridge Blues hockey team went door to door in Bracebridge collecting for the drive. Reid adds that it was great to see such community spirit. He says there’s enough food now to keep the food bank going until April.
