No one’s filed their papers yet for the upcoming municipal election in Bracebridge. Mayor Graydon Smith has announced his intention to run again, but, like Gravenhurst, Muskoka Lakes, Huntsville, Georgian Bay and Lake of Bays, no one’s officially filed papers. In Huntsville, Mayor Claude Doughty has indicated he wont be seeking another term. The next municipal election is on October 27th, 2014. The nomination period for candidates runs until September 12th at 2pm.
