The Great Immensity

Gravenhurst High School Presents a musical about climate change. The show is a multimedia experience: a live musical that uses digital components. At its heart is an important message and a lot of student passion. Tickets are pay-what-you-can, and the show takes place at the GHS cafeteria.The Great Immensity tells the story of Karl, a documentary filmmaker, who wants to find some way to make people care about climate change. Somewhere along the way, he disappears. Was he kidnapped? Has he gone into hiding? Karl’s wife, Phyllis, traces his steps from Panama to Churchill, Manitoba to figure out what’s happened. Along the way, she meets some of the people and animals whose lives have been altered by the changing climate, and tries to find Karl before it’s too late.
