Community caroling planned at Rotary Centennial Gardens

Bracebridge Rotarians will be joined by the Salvation Army Band on Friday, Dec. 22 for a community Christmas carol.

The Rotary Centennial Gardens at 1 Pine St. in Bracebridge will host the festive crooners. The caroling starts at 7 p.m. with hot chocolate and Timbits set aside for everyone, whether you want to sing or just enjoy the free concert.

Don Smith, Rotary President, says the garden will be brightly lit and festively decorated.

“It’s become a tradition,” he says. “It’s a good evening for the community to get together and sing.”

While the days before Christmas can be chaotic for many organizing family get-togethers among the other holiday-related responsibilities, Smith says it always brings him joy to see the community come together for this free event.
