A 60-year-old from Huntsville has been charged after police say he broke into a motel on Hwy. 11 N. in Gravenhurst.
Provincial Const. Samantha Bigley says the police were called by the motel owner on Dec. 31 after he reviewed security footage and recognized the person as a guest.
She explains the break-in happened in the “early morning hours.”
The accused has been charged with theft under $5,000 and has been held pending his bail hearing.
