A Huntsville couple has welcomed Muskoka’s first hospital-born baby of the year.
According to Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare, Halle Shay Nichols was born in the Huntsville Hospital at 7:14 a.m. on Tuesday, to parents Alex and Kalynn.
Officials say the newborn was delivered by Dr. Caroline Correia, clocking in at six pounds, 11 ounces.
