Rogers plans to install a 90-metre telecommunications tower at 2819 Hwy. 118 E. in Bracebridge.
According to a public notice received by the MyMuskokaNow.com newsroom, the proposed tower will “improve wireless coverage along Hwy. 118 E., west of Wood Lake, and will meet the rising demands for wireless services.”
An equipment shelter will also be installed at the base of the tower.
The site will be surrounded by a security fence.
