A 24-year-old from Huntsville has been charged with sexual assault.
That’s according to Huntsville OPP who says shortly before 11:30 a.m. on May 1, officers recieved a report from a victim of a sexual assault that occurred on West Road.
The crime and canine units as well as the Emergency Response Team were engaged to identify and locate the unknown individual. The accused was held for bail and remanded into custody.
Anyone with information related to this incident or a similar one is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. The OPP says there is no statute of limitations on sexual offences and a report can be made at any time, regardless of how much time has passed.
