The reconstruction of Minerva Street is set to start today (July 2).
Town of Huntsville says work will take place between Centre and West streets and will include storm sewers, sidewalks, and road resurfacing. The project is scheduled to be done by August.
Officials add although there will be traffic impacts, the road will be open to local traffic only and all surrounding businesses will remain open.
“Street parking on Minerva will not be available during construction. Please use nearby municipal parking lots and side streets for parking. To help find parking, see the Town’s online interactive map,” shares the Town.
The Transit stop in front of the Huntsville Public Library will be temporarily moved to the front of the Portage Building.
