A 41-year-old Gravenhurst man has been charged with assault with a weapon and several other charges after an altercation over the weekend.
According to Bracebridge OPP, officers received a call of a dispute at a local licensed establishment with threats being made.
Officers found the suspect nearby and investigated the nature of the threats before making the arrest.
He’s been charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon CC 267(a)
- Uttering Threats to Cause Death CC 264.1(1)(a)
- Firearm- Use while Committing Offence CC 85(1)(a)
- Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose CC 88
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Bracebridge today (June 8)
