A large quantity of drugs are off the cottage country streets.
That’s according to the OPP, who says officers executed a search warrant at a Huntsville home on Aug. 2.
As a result, police say over 200 grams of mushrooms, over 110 grams of illicit cannabis, nearly 100 grams of cocaine, 39 grams of MDMA, over $5,000 and more were all seized.
A 44-year-old from Huntsville was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Other Drugs
- Possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession for the purpose of distributing
- Possession Property obtained by crime over $5000
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
A 30-year-old from Huntsville was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Other drugs
- Possession of Proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking
Both were released with Bracebridge court dates in September.
