If you see some smoke in the air around Spring Lake Road this weekend, there’s no need to panic.
The Bracebridge Fire Department says specialized training is taking place this Saturday (Nov. 2).
Officials say it’s taking place at 1056 Spring Lake Road from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with fire apparatus, artificial training, smoke, and more all being in use.
The department says training will involve search and rescue, rapid intervention teams and accountability operations.

They add signage will be placed to inform the community.
