The Town of Bracebridge is developing a Cemetery Master Plan and wants your opinion.
According to officials, the Town operates and maintains 19 non-denominational cemeteries of various size and affiliation. Many cemetery locations hold historical connections to smaller communities within the Town’s boundaries.
Officials say the Town is working with LEES+Associates to develop a plan to guide the future development, operation, care, and maintenance of cemeteries in Bracebridge.
“This study will enable the Town to understand the community’s interment and memorialization needs to ensure there are sufficient products and services to accommodate current and future requirements,” say Town officials.
They add stakeholders, and members of the community are invited to review the project details and provide their feedback on Engage Bracebridge.
Officials say a more detailed survey will be available on Nov. 15.
