Mulligans Golf Lounge hosts fundraising golf tournament to help fight cancer

Everything is ready for the virtual golf tournament in support of Enliven Cancer Care Muskoka.

The two-day Movember with the Mulligans event will be held at Mulligans Golf Lounge on Nov. 27 and 28.

Carrie Campbell, Executive Director at Enliven Cancer Care, says the Mulligans Golf Lounge agreed to host and donate a portion of the proceeds to support the charity’s programming.

“Our mission is for everyone in Muskoka who’s affected by cancer to live well. What we hope to do is just offer bits of life almost,” says Campbell.

She says they offer peer support groups, events and programs for people affected by the disease to help them get back into “living life again.”

“We have a whole host of programs that we offer free of charge, which is why fundraising like this is so important to us,” shares Campbell.

She says it is $125 per team of two and includes two hours of sim time and two free drinks.

“They have two golf simulators. So, four people can be golfing at a time. So, there is a limit. I would urge everyone to get signed up because it is next week,” says Campbell.

She says there will be prizes for the winning team, best team stashes, best name and more.

Campbell adds there will also be pool tables and axe throwing at a separate price.
