Huntsville’s Got Talent auditions now open

Huntsville’s Got Talent is back for those ready to show off their skills for a good cause.

Proceeds from the event will support Community Living Huntsville’s affordable housing initiatives for people with developmental disabilities.

Jennifer Jerrett, Event Coordinator, says it is a “fun and welcoming talent show” with cash prizes.

“Whether you sing, dance, play an instrument, juggle, tell jokes or have another unique talent, we would love to see what you’ve got,” says Jerrett.

North Muskoka community members of all ages, talents, and abilities must submit their registration forms and audition videos by Jan. 3 if they want to participate.

Officials say on Jan. 6, nine finalists and wildcard contestants will be announced. The public can vote for one wildcard finalist by Jan. 13. All ten finalists will perform live at the Algonquin Theatre on February 1.

The first place prize is $1,500, second place prize $500, and the third place will take home $250.

“The show is about celebrating our talented community and having a great time together,” says Jerrett. “Why not give it a shot? You might surprise yourself! The first step is as easy as registering and submitting your audition video.”

Contestants will find registration information and audition video submission details at www.huntsvillesgottalent.com. Audience tickets are on sale now at AlgonquinTheatre.ca
