Bakers from Cedar Canoe Books, Family Connexions, and the Huntsville OPP raised $1000.00 in a cookie challenge to support United Way Muskoka.
The cookie challenge, organized by Detective Constable Maureen O’Grady, took place at Downtown Espresso in Huntsville.
“There were mountains of cookies competing for bragging rights,” say officials. “Thank you to the community of Huntsville who came to Downtown Espresso to taste the competing cookies and vote.”
Community members tasted the cookies, donated money, and voted for Detective McKay’s cookie as the winner.
