The town of Bracebridge held its first Official Plan open house yesterday (March 18) at Muskoka Leon’s Auditorium.
The Official Plan is the principal policy document used by the Municipality to express community goals and objectives, identify natural features, guide development and redevelopment and protect the Town’s natural, heritage and cultural resources.
Town officials say the open house allowed attendees to review draft policies and mapping as well as engage with the project team.
The Public Meeting for the official review will be held during the April 2 Planning and Development Committee meeting, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
