District of Muskoka launches survey on housing and homelessness services

The District of Muskoka has launched a community survey to help the future of housing and homelessness services.

The survey is open until March 31, and officials say it is part of their 5-Year Update to the 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan and a Homelessness System Review.

“This review will assess current housing conditions, identify gaps, and develop solutions that align with provincial and federal strategies,” say district officials.

Officials say housing affordability and availability remain key challenges in Muskoka adding they seek to increase housing options, improving affordability, and strengthening services for those in need.
