The OPP is gearing up for its annual Distracted Driving Campaign. So far, there’ve been 12 distracted driving-related deaths this year and police say their 2015 collision data is shaping up to see a seventh year in a row where distracted driving surpasses impaired driving as a cause in fatal collisions. The OPP’s Chief Superintendent Chuck Cox says distracted driving is a danger to all road users and that police want to see everyone develop a complete intolerance for distracted driving. The campaign starts March 14th and ends March 20th.
