The Town of Bracebridge has taken chances on a lot of events and it has paid off for a few.
Since 2008 the town has provided over $130,000 through the Tourism Grant.
One new event which proved to be extremely popular in its first year was Santa Fest.
Other events that have been running for a few years with help from the grant are OperaMuskoka and Muskoka Beer Festival.
