Following the destruction of almost 30 trees in Annie Williams Park, a plan for restoration is underway.
Park Board Chair, Cathryn Willard, says the board is planning new measures to counteract the damages.
Willard says the idea right now is to have a one-day event where everyone who is sponsoring trees will come together at the park in the spring to plant their trees.
She says this is still in the planning stages but the idea seems to be gaining ground.
Meanwhile the board is asking residents to let the certified workers cut and clear the debris of the blown over trees.
