Ontario’s 55+ Summer Games have wrapped up, and two athletes in the Haliburton-Muskoka Region came in first place for the golf tournament.
Robert Pearce won gold in the Men’s 65 plus, and Jere Peke came out with a gold medal in the men’s 75 plus tournament.
In carpet bowling, Ranata Kreiger and Carrol Williams beat 15 other teams, and won gold.
In the 3 kilometers women’s Nordic walking Haliburton-Muskoka resident Ann McIvor came out with silver.

Another resident, Beverley Kerr came out with bronze in the Nordic Women’s.
The games started on August 9th, and ended on the 11th.
