An Alberta man is facing a slew of charges after being stopped by RIDE in Huntsville. The OPP says it was conducting RIDE checks on Highway 60 at Grandview Drive on Thursday when the 36-year-old drove up. The police are accusing the Peace River man of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, driving with liquor readily available, driving while suspended, and driving with a child passenger not properly secured.
The OPP says he was driving with his family, including his spouse and seven kids who were between 11-months-old and eight-years-old. The police suspended his license for 90 days and impounded his car for seven days. He will be in a Huntsville court next month to answer to the charges.
