For the fourth straight year, Huntsville Mayor Scott Aitchison will be the leader of the pack as he takes adults and kids on a 12 km bicycle ride through the town later today.
Assisted by the folks at the SportLab and Dr. Lowell  Greib, this annual event is becoming a real focal point for it’s touring aspect through various neighbourhoods. It also promotes exercise in a low key manner and an activity the whole family can participate in.
Greib says the big take away for a lot of people is the fact that the bike can easily be integrated as a mode of transportation for going to work or school or just doing some light shopping.
Done in partnership with Dr. Lowell  Greib of the Sportlab, it is a great way to get back on the saddle if you have taken a break from cycling, but as Greib describes with the free admission there is an extra little treat.
The ride starts at 630 pm at River Mill Park.
