The Almaguin Highlands OPP is investigating a crash that killed a senior citizen from Strong Township.
The OPP says Wayne McLaren was driving a backhoe on a private road yesterday morning. Emergency crews were called around 11:00am after the backhoe and a northbound CN Train collided just off High Rock Road.
The 72-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The OPP says a post mortem is scheduled for today.
