here’s a freezing rain warning in effect north of Muskoka.
Environment Canada says it’s in effect for the South River and Burk’s Falls areas. The agency says freezing rain is expected to move in later this afternoon or evening, before changing over to rain later tonight.
About two to five mm of ice accumulation on untreated surfaces is possible. That means things like roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Poor weather conditions may cause travel delays and we could see power outages as well.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
